Dr. Dan grew up in Lakeville, MN. He graduated with a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire in 2014, and received his veterinary degree in 2022 from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to returning to his hometown of Lakeville, he practiced medicine in western Oregon, and before veterinary school worked in research at Mayo Clinic, studying the mechanisms of aging to help people and animals live longer healthier lives. His interests in veterinary medicine include preventative care, dermatology, and working to make vet visits as positive an experience as possible. Dr. Dan shares his home with his wife Sabrina, two cats, Cinder and Solaire, a corn snake named Laszlo, and a jumping spider named Hallow. In his freetime Dr. Dan enjoys making dice for tabletop games, playing video games, hiking, reading, and spending time with his family and friends.
